International Conference on Social Responsibility of Educational Institutions in Developing Countries
The 1st Multidisciplinary International Conference on Social Responsibility of Educational Institutions in Developing Countries (ICSEDC 2018) was held at GKD Auditorium on 24 & 25 August 2018. It was organized by the P.G. and Research Department of Social Work, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts & Science, in association with The Bharath Social and Research Foundation. The inaugural function featured addresses by esteemed guests, including Dr. P. Kanagasabapathi, Thiru. R. Pandiarajan, and Mrs. Varathagowry Vasudevan. The conference included keynote speeches, research presentations, and discussions on social responsibility. The valedictory session was held on 25 August 2018, with a speech by Dr. F. X. Lovelina Little Flower. Certificates were distributed to participants. The event aimed to foster dialogue on the role of educational institutions in social development. It provided a platform for researchers and practitioners to share insights. The conference emphasized Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of education and empowerment.
